So I sang all the way to the vet and then I was a good girl while I was there at that place. I had to be stuck 3 times and all kinds of other bad stuff. I have an upper respiratory infection. So that Person brings me home and shuts me in the bathroom. Now for revenge, I kept her up all night crying and crying and crying. You see I am used to staying outside. This morning I escaped since she is not as fast as she used to be getting out the door, I am under the bed in the bedroom and will not come out.
Now, the Person has a question, what can she use to disinfect the whole bedroom and now the bedroom??? We just don't want everyone sick again.

Don't forget to check out the AUCTION There are lots of new things on there and there will be some more new things this morning.

Have a great day.
Oh, we are so sorry about Mew Mew being sick. It is hard to know what would be best for disinfecting - the bathroom could use chlorine bleach on the floor etc, but the bedroom is hard. Can the other kitties be kept out of there for a while? Most likely transmission of the virus would be by droplet from the nose and mouth.
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry that you're feeling so sick Mew Mew and we hope that you feel much better.
ReplyDeleteA respiratory infection is generally a second infection that develops from having a cold and is not contagious in any way. The cold on the other hand is, but not all cat that catch the cold will get an infection.
However a good natural and cat safe disinfectant is vinegar. Mix with some water and a few drops a lavender oil in a spray bottle and use to clean hard surfaces or to mist soft furnishings.
The Paw Relations
We are so sorry about Mew Mew! I think Paw Relations has it right re the disinfecting. Sending purrs and prayers for a quick recovery xox
ReplyDeleteOh No Sending you Lots of Golden Healing Thoughts. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeletePurrs for Mew Mew, we hope she recovers quickly and that everyone else stays healthy.
ReplyDeleteFor cleaning, our human mostly uses a spray bottle of half-hydrogen peroxide (kills germs, disinfects, keeps things stain-free) and half-water. Works great in her bathroom, but we don't know if that would be appropriate for your bedroom.
Oh no, poor Mew Mew. I am so sorry you are not feeling well. We all send you our best purrs and prayers. Trust that Mom, she is just trying to help you.
ReplyDeleteOh, Mew Mew, I'm so sorry you're so sick. That CAN'T be fun. And then to gets dragged to the V.E.T., too? Yeesh! I hope you get feeling better real fast!
ReplyDeleteMom says she's a firm believer in some stuff called Lysol.
Wiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
I hope you feel better Mewmew. Lots of goat hugs from us
ReplyDeleteSending you hugs, MewMew...Hope you feel better soon...and please try NOT to spread your germs. Just send them in the opposite direction.
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry you are feeling sick Mew Mew and hope you will soon be feeling better. We are so sorry to hear that your were dragged off to the v-e-t.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
OH DEAR MEW MEW we are so sorry you are sick and hope you feel better very soon. Mom doesn't know much about disinfectant but sometimes they say with humans once they have been on meds for 24 hours they are no longer contagious...not sure if that is the case with kitties.
ReplyDeletehealing hugs madi your bfff
So sorry you are under the weather Mew Mew. Wish our mom could help you. Whenever she tries to keep some virus from not passing on to at least some of us, she never seems to be successful. We usually infect each other before she even knows one of us is sick. Get well really super fast. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeletePoor Mew Mew. I think Paw Relations gave you a very good disinfectant "recipe".
ReplyDeleteSending Mew Mew our very strong purrs for a quick and full recovery. Purring too that the rest remain healthy.
You poor baby! We hope you will feel much better soon. The girls are sending lots of purrs your way :)
ReplyDeletePoor Mew Mew! Like they say, nothing worse than a summer cold. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteoh blech.....we hope you are feeling better soon. we know peoples use the lysol to kill their germs - bet it works on kitty germs too (though mom says she isn't sure)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're sick Mew Mew. Looks like mom is taking care of everything just fine. Also the vinegar issue has been addressed.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day. My best to your mom. :)
Oh noes! We hope you get well soon Mew Mew! We don't know much about disinfecting so we appreciate everyone's advice and have taken notes too!
ReplyDeleteSending healing purrz to Mew Mew. Paw Relations seems to have a good solution. TW uses Clorox disinfectant wipes on the phone and computer when Pop is sick but not sure if kitties should walk over it.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I am so sorry, Mew Mew that you got uri. I hope you get better quickly. I don't know how to disinfect but I have heard vinegar is safe and effective.
ReplyDeleteOh Mew Mew, we're sorry you had to go to the V-E-T. No one likes that. But in this case, we promise you'll feel better in no time! Our Mom and Dad use Wet Wipes and a weak bleach/water solution to scrub from ceiling to floor including litter box(s), food and water bowls. All toys are washed as well as carriers, bedding and towels. They probably go over the top but we don't mind because they do it for us. Sending healing purrs....
ReplyDeleteWe hope Mew Mew is feeling better soon. Good luck with the disinfectant.
ReplyDeleteAww, sweetie - I'm purring like crazy for you to get better. Your poor human, she worries bout all of you so much - then you pay her back by keeping her up all night! Hope you get better real fast and your human can get some much needed sleep. M said to tell your human that she needs her sleep if she and M are going out dancing!
ReplyDeletePoor Mew Mew! WE are very sorry to hear you are sick, and are purring and praying that you get better soon.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you feel better soon Mew Mew! We are glad Marg noticed you felt unwell right awayl! It can be difficult to tell with kitties some times!
ReplyDeleteWe think something not too toxic to disinfect would be good-like half hydrogen peroxide and water (Fuzzy Tales) suggestion sounds good!
the critters in the cottage xo

ReplyDeleteWe hope you get better very soon. Nobody likes to go to the v-e-t. We send you get well purrs.
ReplyDeleteMew Mew, we are very sorry you are sick. Hope the meds make you all better. Not fun having to take that but best to follow doctor's orders.
ReplyDeleteFeel better.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
I hope you feel better soon Mew Mew :( We used bleach to disinfect at the vet clinic. That might work for the bathroom but I don't know about the bedroom. I guess I would just use some disinfectant sprays to wipe things down and wash/vacuum everything else. And keep those areas closed off to other kitties for at least a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel much, MUCH better, really soon. I'm gonna send you some super-duper extra-strength purrs to help you along with the healing process. Okay? Okay. Stand back for here they come!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy
Sending hugs and get well vibes!
ReplyDeleteOh, Marg, we wish we had an answer. We are so sorry to hear this. You must be exhausted and sick with worry. We wish there was something we could do to help you. We'll be purring for you, Mew Mew and the others so they don't get sick.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! Sweet Mew Mew--I hope you are feeling better by tomorrow, sweet girl! XOXOXO I think other people know more about disinfecting kitty spaces than my Human does and they seem to have good advices for your Mom. Purrs to efurrybuddy!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Mew Mew in fighting her illness. I won't try to help with the disinfecting; I'll learn more by reading others' comments...
ReplyDeleteOh Poor Mew-Mew! We hope all that jabbing will make you feel better quickly.
ReplyDeleteWe know that there are spray-on disinfectants but are not familiar with what might be available over your way.
Purrs,
The Chans
Oh, Mew Mew, I am so sorry you are feeling so bad :( I hope the medicines from the vet work quick so you can feel better fast!
ReplyDeleteOh MewMew...I am so so sorry I missed this. Loves you and don't like not being able to purr for you. I might have to fire mommy.
