Hi boys, enjoy your barn snack. Marg, are the US oak acorns toxic to horses and donkeys the same as in the UK? Here we have to be careful that they don't come into contact with them until later in October when they are not green and high in tannins. In the New Forest they let the pigs run free to eat them up during September.
Acorns? What an elegant treat! Barn snacks don't look so bad either. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou boys are so handsome and I hope you enjoy some cooler weather today!!!
ReplyDeleteLucky donks! I always want to eat acorns. But Mom tells me I am not a donkey! Who knew???
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
