This is Lou, one of the feral cats. We are in
the process of catching the three ferel cats that
are in the bedroom and put them out in the barn
that is all closed in, and then letting them out
after they are comfortable in there. I have tried my
best to befriend them, but as the saying goes, once a
feral cat always a feral cat.

Happy Wednesday to all.
She looks like she might maybe be friends, but only if she can hide behind this stool just in case.
ReplyDeleteLou sure is a cutie but sometimes the wild child doesn't leave. We hope Lou adjusts to being safe and loved!

You are so good to take care of him.
ReplyDeleteYou do what needs doing. They will be fine in the barn with your care. They will be much happier too, I'm guessing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Wordless Wednesday. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥
Peek-a-boo Lou! We know that any animal in your charge will be well cared for!
ReplyDeletethey may have decided not to be house cats, but they have landed in a great spot where they will be cared for
ReplyDeleteOh handsome Lou, we think we see that curiosity in your eyes, wondering about who's taking your photo. We've had feral brothers and every one of them believed in befriending those humans. We hope you do the same!
ReplyDeleteSilly kitties, this is your chance to get back outside - let her catch you already! MOL!
ReplyDeleteYep, some cats just prefer to stay feral! You do what you can with them.
ReplyDeleteWe are sending our purrs that these kittens learn that some beans are good furriends. Be safe little ones!

ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
YOU are incredible!
ReplyDeleteMight just be thinking hard on it, really hard.
ReplyDeleteWe bet you can win them over, Marg!
ReplyDeleteLou has cute eyes
ReplyDeleteShe does look a bit leery
ReplyDeletePoor things
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet little faces.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty. And Horizon was feral, but he was caught at 3 months instead of as an adult. That makes a big difference.
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting them to the barn.
Lou looks kind of curious. We sure hope you get her and the others to the barn without incident!
ReplyDeleteShe is sweet, but if she is determined not to become friendly she will be much happier as an outside cat. I know you will take good care of her whichever way she prefers to live.
ReplyDeleteThey may come around with time. They most likely will not come sit on your lap or let you touch them, but they will come close to you and stay around when you feed them. It takes about 6 weeks for them to imprint on their new home. A lot of TNR people keep them in a big cage in the barn where they are transferred so that they have time to imprint. Wishing you luck!
ReplyDeleteSome kitties sure just don't like to warm up to us humans, do they? I take care of a kitty outside of my house, where I've built him a little heated house because he refuses to let me get near him or touch him. You are doing so many wonderful things for these kitties, Marg, and we are sending you lots of well wishes!
