Queen Mom having such a nice nap in the sun.
That was when she lived outside.
She is proof of once a feral cat, always a feral cat.
One day she let herself into the house and has
been here ever since. BUT, I still can't catch her hi
or touch her which is all right. She is very happy inside.
Another picture of her while outside. That is her
daughter, Split on the table.
Here she is having a nice nap on a chair.

Happy Tuesday to all.
Queen Mom is a pretty ladycat. Don't give up hope of being able to touch her. I had a feral tuxie who was also glad to come indoors when it suited him. I could never catch or touch him until he was about 12 years old. He lived to about 18, and for his last 6 years he became a soft lap cat.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a special gal Queen Mom and we're so glad you are happy and safe inside. Y'all enjoy the pretty day.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mum, we're glad you're on the inside now.
ReplyDeleteOh, how maddening! It would be so hard for me not to just touch her...just once...to let her know the wonderful feeling of touch and love. Well..she has the "love" part....
ReplyDeleteGosh, I am jealous! My outside cats are so sweet, but they WON'T COME INSIDE! I'd live with the fact that I couldn't pet, if I knew they were safe from rain, wind, raccoons, other stupid humans...
ReplyDeleteYes, some kitties you never can love like you want. they don't want to be touched. She's sure a pretty Mom though. Split is a chip off the block too.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect Tortie Tuesday. My best to your wonderful mom. ❤❤❤
Cute cats
ReplyDeleteguess she decided in was better than out...so long as she has her own personal space. hope you are all staying safe and dry
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you chose to enjoy the inside, Queen Mom. Purrs
ReplyDeleteI am glad she likes it indoors now, much safer.
ReplyDeletequeen mom; inn ore out ewe iz still gorgeouz....N ya noe; even uz inn siderz ...sum timez
ReplyDeletewe iz all bout pleez due knot touch me... two.... ♥♥♥
It makes us happy that you're so happy and safe indoors, Queen Mom. You are such a pretty lady cat, and Split certainly got her looks from you. Purrs!
ReplyDeleteSmart move, QM. Inside is always better than outside in my experience.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
Happy and safe inside is the way, even if she does run away
ReplyDeleteFeral AND a tortie - that's a double-dose of willfulness!
ReplyDeleteTorties are such exquisite creatures. I'm glad Queen Mom came around. Life is hard for kitties that stay outside - even when someone is feeding them. Sounds like she gets the best of both worlds.
ReplyDeleteShe’s smart to choose indoors, even if she remains wary. She’s beautiful, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's rather sad that not wanting to be touched she is missing out on the joy of ear scritches and belly rubs. At least she has the love and a good home.
ReplyDeleteNow that Queen Mom has decided that she likes it inside, we bet that in time she will let you pet her - all in due time:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Queen Mom, we are sure glad you decided to come inside. We hope one day, you will surprise Mom Marg by letting her pet you. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's a smart tortie to have let her self inside and not left!
