Mom has been busy trying to catch some of
the feral cats that live down the street. There
are some of the ones we have had spayed or
neutered.
This is how we catch them. Put food in the carrier
and when they go in, very carefully close the door.
The black and white going in is in our bedroom at the moment and
it took her three weeks to come out from under the bed.Mom just
wants to get them a little used to humans.
There are about ten more that need to be
done. Mom does feel so sorry for them, since
they are so very scared.

We are very thankful for all of our blogging friends
and all of our good food here and very important at the moment,
a roof over our heads.

Sending good thoughts to all those going
through Florence.
Dear Marg thank you for your devotion to those precious felines. We are certain they will feel less threatened once neutered or spayed because they will have less aggression

ReplyDeleteOh, Marg, you have such a good heart! Be safe with the weather there.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I caught my first feral cat; using a dog crate and food! The cats may be upset and scared a little bit, but not having to continually fight for mating and territory will enrich their lives. Thank you for helping them!
ReplyDeleteP.S. are you a 501C non-profit?
