Donkey Saturday

Gertrude is home and much better but by no means well. She hasn't stopped meowing since she has been home and she has tried to eat a few mouthfuls and at the moment she is quiet, thank heavens.

    I hope Gertrude soon feels better. Maybe it is an adverse reaction to the anaesthetic. Once when Eric had a dental he had a bad reaction and it was put on his records to avoid that particular injection.

    Fun to see the Donkeys ! Hopefully Gertrude will continue to get better - maybe she is still a bit woozy from the anesthetic. Flynn and Eric's Mom has a great point about noting not to use it again - I can't have Demerol (I guess they don't use it anymore anyway.)

    Do Joe and Smoke make a lot of noise yelling at each other when they play chase? That's what those donkeys up the street do:) We are glad Gertrude is home and we sure hope the next few days make her much better.
