A very Thankful Thursday

Yesterday, a friend was mowing my front pasture which had grass that was over my head and it was very dry. Unfortunately, the mower caught on fire and burned the whole field and came close to my house. But all is OK, all animals are good and the fire dept. got here in time to keep it away from the house and the barns.
This was my pompus bush and you can see how it all got close to the house. And of course there is Tip Tail checking it all out. 
This is along my fence towards the driveway and my neighbor.

This is from my yard fence down across the pasture.
It was so scary but we are so lucky that it didn't get to the house or the barns.

    What a terrible accident. Thank goodness everyone was safe and it didn't reach your house!
    The grass must have been very dry for that to happen.

    What a terrible frightening thing to happen. Thank the Lord that you all were not hurt! I imagine it frightened everyone there! I am thankful myself that you were able to tell us that you all were untouched personally. XXX

    We are so glad the house, barns, and everyone is okay! That must have been such a frightening experience, but it sounds like it was all handled very well. That is something to indeed be truly thankful for. Purrs to all of you!

    Oh Marg I am so very very sorry you had this scary event but so thankful all are ok.
    My word....I guess it was pretty dry there too. My goodness me...thank goodness for such quick response time from the fire department.

    OH MY!!! WE are so glad the brave firemen got there so quickly and took down that fire so no one was hurt and the house was untouched!

    Oh, Marg, that is just terrible. But we too are so thankful that it had a good ending with no one hurt. We have had high fire alerts for a few weeks now because it is so incredibly dry here. There was one really bad grass fire not too far from our location. We are thankful for our dedicated fire fighters.

    Thank goodness the fire was stopped without harm to you or the animals or the buildings ! It is so wet here (NE Ohio) that even though it is 60 degrees right now you couldn't get a mower out without getting stuck !
