Middleton Place, a National Historic Landmark located on the banks of the Ashley River in Charleston, S.C.encompasses America's oldest landscaped Gardens.
Sprawling Ashley River rice plantation dating to the 1730s, with gardens and refined lodging.
I used to live right next door to this plantation and it is gorgeous. It has a wing of the original house that was there before. It has a wonderful barnyard too.
It is such a great place to visit.

What a stunningly gorgeous place for Sammy on this day. This is much like how I imagine the Rainbow Bridge. What a perfect place for sun puddles and playing and meeting old friends.
