Formerly Feral


Here is Momma kitty enjoying the Halloween Mat.
Momma kitty is in her favorite bed in the extra bedroom.

Split is home but very unhappy. She had a terrible time when she first got home last night. The collar scared her something awful. So she started running and crashing into things. It scared me something awful. I got her and put her in the small bathroom and she is much better. She has many many stitches and four drains. So she is a very sad kitty.
Thanks everyone for all your purrs and good wishes. Hopefully we are on the healing side now.

    Split, we are so glad that you are home and healing. Those cones sure are scary, but it really is for your own good. You (and the mom, too, of course) are certainly in our purrs and prayers, Split!

    Split bless your sweet little tortie heart. I can only imagine how scary it was to have surgery and a collar all in one day. But I bet you'll heal quickly so rest my friend.

    You made the right choice, Momma Kitty. We hope Split heals from all that! Sometimes you can put the cone on backward and they can't reach the wound area, but can still eat and walk around. If it's on her butt I'm not sure that will work.

    I hope split will be well and happy soon not fun when they are not well, I adopted Buster not sure but I don't think he was feral He is lovey but also can run through the house like a wild horse and I thought cats were quite. All of you have a good friday

    Poor, poor Split. It is bad enough she has all that injury, but to have to wear the cone makes it even worse. It must be very frightening to her. Hope the healing moves right along and very well. Please give her a gentle kiss from us.
