Hi everyone, Queen Momma here sitting on the banister right out side a window and that is why the picture isn't very good.
Anyway, the cute story. This morning about 3 A.M. the Mom heard me doing my meow that I always used for calling my kittens to me. The Mom knows that Meow since she would go over to where I used to live and Momma kitty would always call her kittens. She had three litters. So the Mom fed her on the back steps but she kept meowing for over an hour. Finally she stopped. Then this morning very early she opened the back door and there she was with two of her children, Tees and
Ohs. So the boys remembered their Mom and her calling them. They are about 4 or 5 years old by now.
Anyway, it warmed my heart to see that.

Happy Friday to everyone.

That mama kitty call gets me too! I think sometimes those former mom cats use it just to stir things up. Mimi still calls her children--here in the house. And she sets them straight now and then though she's about half their size.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Isn't that sweet?! I guess they do remember their kin after all. Or you just KNOW that you'd be coming running when your mom calls.
ReplyDeleteohhhh it warmed mine too! That is sooo special and sooo sweet! Also amazing!
