Tabby Tuxie Tuesday

Hi there Mew Mew here, and I had a horrible experience on Friday and Saturday just past. I wasn't eating anything and was acting really sick, so off to the the vet  I went. I had a temp of 106 degrees. So the said I had to stay in the vet clinic.
Just look what they did to me. That is where they put in the tube for the fluids. Now here comes the worst thing. They put a cone around my neck. Now keep in mind I am used to staying outside all the time and have never been shut in a cage before . To make a long story short, they finally told the Mom to come visit and they brought her back to my cage where no one could get near me because I was growling so much and they couldn't get me out. So the Mom put her hand on me and I walked right up to her. And then the Mom turned to the vet and in a very loud and strong voice said I was going home right now. I was also lying in two days of urine The Mom is still saying very norty words.
Needless to say, I am so happy to be home. I hid from Mom all day yesterday but I am speaking to her a lot more now. I am eating a little bit at a time. 
Sorry this is so long but the Mom feels just awful that I had that horrible experience.

    Oh, MewMew ... no one as purrty as you should have to go through such awfulness ... happy you're home now. Home's where the heart is, that's where you'll get your loving care and get all better soon!

    Oh, Mew Mew, that must have been very traumatic. Your Mom is right to be mad - the Vet places are meant to make you well, not give you such a bad experience!!

    That must have been so scary for you MewMew - we are so sorry that you had to be caged when you aren't used to it and not to mention them not keeping you dry and clean. We are glad that Marg told those nasty people some norty words.

    Oh, Mew Mew, we're so, so sorry you had this terrible experience. Two days of urine? Our human would have been livid, in fact we think her head might have exploded with anger. We're so glad Marg brought you home right away and are sending our purrs and purrayers that you'll be fine, no more vet visits needed.

    Just a side note: one of my coworker's has a "formerly" feral cat that she has to sedate (via trickery) before she can even get her into a carrier. I don't know what the sedative (pill) is, something from the vet, of course. And then the cat (Rose) has to be fully sedated at the clinic for the vet or tech to do anything with. So just a thought that maybe if Mew Mew ever needs to go back, she could be sedated first, if that would help.

    I wouldn't have been happy either. Not a good thing to not be cleaned up when needed. I think those people were scared of you. No excuse though because they are trained for that.

    Oh Mew Mew, mes so furry sad that yous had such a horrible visit at the vet! Sometimes being the Cat From Hell at the vet can make hell even worse.

    Poor Mew Mew. People at the vet should have experience handling all kinds of animals in every situation so that is just not right.

    I'm so sorry you were sick! It is good that you were able to get some care from the doctor though. We all need a little help sometimes. I hope that you are feeling much better now.

    Hi,just was able to get to your Tuesday post and was pretty horrified! Paprika too had to be hydrated at the vet last year (she could not hold anything down) and was not a good patient. I was not happy with the vet experience either. 106 fever! I hope the fever went down? Thinking about Mew Mew and fingers crossed for quick recovery.

    MewMew...I am so SORRY that you went through all of that. Honey, you must eat and drink and that fever needed treating BUT! I am shocked and so is mommy that you were treated so badly. That place sure changed from last time I spoke to your mommy.
