    I didn't think you needed to plug in those kind of heaters. I set mine in my lap and she starts purring away. Don't even need an "on" switch. ;-)

    I wouldn't be surprised if it is defective! We just bought one that brand and it broke within like a week! We got our money back thank goodness.

    You're right! It does say that it is a heater on the outside. That has to be false advertising. Could be a cozy place for a nap though.
