Today is National Feral Cat day and the people at Alley Cats are big advocates and help many feral cats find homes. They are a wonderful operation so please check it out.
Girl Kitty here and this is where I used to eat. I now live over in the little shed. I am a feral kitty but I will let the Person touch me just a little bit. We feral cats, are very very nice cats, we are not mean, just nervous around strangers. So we are not cuddly etc. But we are good faithful friends.
Momma kitty here. I am very feral but also a truly faithful friend of the Person. Now if a stranger comes in the yard, I will definitely go somewhere and hide. As some of you know, I just recently let the Person pat me just a tiny bit. It has only taken 5 years for that to happen. so we feral cats do take some patience but it is well worth it. Momma kitty follows the Person everywhere she goes.

Hope everyone has a Happy day.

To be a feral kitty by Marg is a dream come true. You guys really get treated just like family. Mom misses the ferals that she use to feed when she worked.
ReplyDeleteHappy Feral Cat Day.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that Momma Kitty is rewarding your patience. Caught young enough, feral kittens are wonderful companions. Our loves, Tommie and Mickey Mouser, were both brought home at 10 or 12 weeks.

Hi Girl Kitty and Momma Kitty! Feral kitties are awesome, and we are super glad you both found your way to Marg. She loves you and takes such great care of you.
ReplyDeleteMarg, we love so much that you take care of these feral kitties. It is truly a calling and God holds a special place for you in heaven. By the way, we think the Hall-o-ween header is the Cat's Meow and then some. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

ReplyDeleteThat person of yours is so nice for caring for all of you kitties. I just love feral cats and used to care for some. But we haven't had any ferals around for quite a few years now. Every now and then I'll see a random cat, but that is very rare.

ReplyDeleteIf we were feral kitties, we would want to live in Marg's yard! We really like your header. Very spooky.
ReplyDeleteYour person does so much for feral cats. I have to applaud her. Not many people have that much patience. I wish Feral Cat Day didn't fall the day after Blog the Change cos I post every other day.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a couple feral kittens who were loving pets, just like house cats, and MMM is our latest effort, although she was an adult when caught. If anyone is a true friend of ferals, its Marg. You do so much good work. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful great happy feral story!
