Friday Flashback

Hi there, Holly here. I was one of the first cats that moved in here with the Person. I was very interested in the great food that was served here. I lived next door and they fed me but not very often. I had several litters of kittens, and one litter was born over here. That would have been BB, Little Bit, and Girl Kitty who is still here.
I was not at all feral and was pretty friendly. Of course the first thing that the Person did was whisk me off to have one of those girly operations. So then I came home here and I did go back to my old place every now and then, but always came back. One day, the other neighbors were having a cook out over at their house. The Person looked out the window and saw me walking back over here with something strange in my mouth. So she came out to see what it was, and it was a whole hot dog. Would you believe that she took the hot dog away from me? So guess what, I went back and got another one. She let me keep the second one.

    I guess the person figured you'd just keep going back for hot dogs until you were able to keep one, Holly. Besides, you may have worked hard for that meal - or someone may just have given it to you...

    MOL, we think it's great that you stole hotdogs from those people who didn't take good care of you. At least in the end they ended up giving you hotdogs -- whether it was on purpose or not!
