Mancat Monday

Hi there everyone, Mister here and I am getting old now and hurting some but I still can growl and put everyone in their places.

I do like to sit in the nice warm sun. Lately the Mom has been letting me be loose in the house which is great. I used to mark the house with you know what but now I am just glad to be around the Mom.  I do have my own nice warm room so that is good too.

Just sitting here in the chair soaking up the sun.

Happy Thanksgiving

Two Two wanted to wish everyone a Wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for all our blogging friends. Everyone has been so nice to us over Girl Kitty. And we appreciate it so much. Everyone have a thankful day.

Happy Turkey day.

Sad day at our house.

Girl Kitty had to go to the bridge yesterday. She was one of Mom's best friends. She was here at the house the first day that moved moved here 14 years ago. She was about 8 or 9 months old.  She was very feral and sat around looking hungry so the Mom started feeding her. And she never left but she did stayed pretty much to herself and about four years ago, she moved over to living under the house next door when the people moved out. But then some more people moved in with four dogs and so she came back over to our house. She would come over here twice a day to eat.

She was very nervous about all the goings on next door so the Mom was able to catch her and put her in our spare bedroom. And then she got very tame. The mom left the door open to the room but Girl Kitty preferred to stay in her room. She didn't like being around other cats since she had been chased so many times by other cats. At one point she did move into the bathroom next to her room and here she is hanging out in the sink. Then she decided that her room was better.
Girl Kitty was a fantastic cat.

Hi there Lil Mum here and our Mom is losing her marbles. She figures that this nice red rose makes me look a little like Christmas. This rose was in our yard.

Hi there Lil Bit here and this is a brand new bed that was meant for Mew Mew out in the barn and I just took it over. So the Mom had to give it me. Guess she will have to order another one for Mew Mew. Luckily they are not expensive.

Friday cute Feral Momma Story

Hi everyone, Queen Momma here sitting on the banister right out side a window and that is why the picture isn't very good. 

 Anyway, the cute story. This morning about 3 A.M. the Mom heard me doing my meow that I always used for calling my kittens to me. The Mom knows that Meow since she would go over to where I used to live and Momma kitty would always call her kittens. She had three litters. So the Mom fed her on the back steps but she kept meowing for over an hour. Finally she stopped. Then this morning very early she opened the back door and there she was with two of her children, Tees and 

Ohs. So the boys remembered their Mom and her calling them. They are about 4 or 5 years old by now. 

Anyway, it warmed my heart to see that.

Thankful Thirsday

Hi there, Mew Mew here and I an shouting to the world that I am feeling better. I have a terrible skin allergy and I had to have a shot this week and I am already better. The shot wasn't much fun but I am so glad to not be itching as much.

Now I can rest peacefully for a change. And we thank all those that donated to our vet fund.

I am a very thankful kitty.

Donkey Saturday

Hi everyone, Joe here, and Smoke and I love to come back here under the trees since that is where all the yummy acorns are and we scarf them up.

Hi Everyone, Smoke here and I am headed out to the acorns. Those are great snacks.

Smoke here again and this looks like great green grass but it isn't. It is old and just not tasty any more so I am going back to find some more acorns.

Feral Cat Friday

Hi there, Queen Momma kitty here and the Peep is going to tell a little story about me. About two weeks ago, I started limping really badly on one hind leg, to the point of not putting it down. So the Peep just watched me knowing full well, that she couldn't trap or catch me.

So a couple of days after that, I disappeared while all the rain was going on. 

Anyway, I came back on this last Tuesday and limping even worse. So the Mom followed me around so she might get a glance at my hind leg to see what was going on. 

And she got a picture of my paw with a good sized cut on it but if you look closely, the edges are healing. Now she has had many a feral kitty and the thing with cats is that they do keep themselves very very clean so she is not worried about the cut because of the history, it is probably an abscess that she licked open and it has drained and will hopefully be just fine. She probably didn't come home in  the rain because she didn't want the paw to get wet.She is eating now and not limping quite as much.

Thankful Thursday

We are all just thankful to have the sun out and no rain for a little while. It has rained here for two weeks.Gertrude here,and she just so glad to get out in the nice sunshine.

I am just going to sit here and soak it all up.  
The donkeys are especially thankful since their barn is one huge muddy mess and hopefully will get all dried out soon.
