Happy Halloween

Two Two wanted to wear her Tutu for Halloween.

 LB wanted to wear the Halloween collar. 

 Tip Tail did not want to be undone by his brother, LB. 

So Mom can we go trick or treating now?? 

Of course Boys, off we go.

Feral Cat Friday

Hi there Momma kitty here. I thought it was time for you all to see me again. I do love hanging out on this porch. There are lots of nice comfy warm spots here.

The other place I like to hang out is in the tall weeds especially when it is hot. It is nice and cool and secluded. 

Please everyone encourage people to be kind to the feral cats. We make great pets and are very loyal when we find that we can trust you.

Thankful Thursday

Hi there Mew Mew here and I had to go to the Vishus vet this week. I have a bad cold and they had to give me a shot. I am already feeling a little better. 

So we are very thankful to everyone for donating money to our fundraiser for the vets. Not that I like going to the vet but glad to feel better.

Saturday Donkey day

Hi everyone, Joe here and I am here to tell you about a procedure that the vet had to do to me on Thursday. I have what is called a Monkey Mouth, which means my lower teeth protrude ahead of my upper teeth which makes it very hard for me to chew my food.So once a year, the vet has to come and do what they call 'float my teeth' which basically means file down the sharp points that are formed because my teeth don't meet.

 The Mom was going to take pictures of the procedure, but they have to tranquilize me and I really look silly when they do that to me, so I requested that she not take pictures. Don't want my fans seeing me all goofy.

That is why I live here since no one else really wanted me because of my problem and no, braces will not work.

Thankful Thursday

                                                              

                                                              Hi there, Ohs here and much to the Mom's surprise, I have started to come in the house to eat and sometimes I even spend the night. I really like it in here. It is nice and warm. And food is served in here too. So we are all thankful that I have gotten so brave. After all I have been living outside for four years now.

Just look at me, just having a bath right on the big bed. When the other cats allow me, I sometimes sleep on the bed. They are pretty bossy in here though.

National Feral Cat day

 
Queen Momma is our most feral cat that lives here. I 
have had her around for about 8 years and she is somewhat attached to me. She will sit next to me and follow me around the yard and lets me touch her for all of one second.. But she is a great cat. And she is the mother to five of the cats here. 

Feral cats have a bad reputation in most places but they do make wonderful pets and are very loyal. They just need to be neutered or spayed to prevent any more kitty kats.

 Girl kitty is a feral cat too but has been living in the house for the past year or so and has become quite tame with me. She lets me pat her and also pick her up. But she spent 12 years outside and would come to eat every day. 

Little Bit lived in an apartment complex and so got used to having people around but she still doesn't trust people very much. I can pat here but nothing doing picking her up. 

So the feral cats do make wonderful pets, you just have to be very patient and give them time to find out you are not going to hurt them.

Thankful Thursday

We are so  thankful because those nice people at PetSafe  offered us two toys just so we would write about them on our blog This is what they call the Cheese Toy.And it is great fun. 
Here is the place to see the cheese toy. Cheese Toy.

 As you can see, it drew everyone's  attention. The little mouse jumps in and out on both sides. The cats sat for hours watching it and tried to bat it many times. That is Tip Tail having a go at it.

 Two Two thought it was super fun to bat at it. Tip Tail couldn't take his eyes off of it.
