Feral Cat Friday.

Hi there, Momma kitty here with my son Ohs. He thinks he going to get my food and he is very wrong. I will certainly scold him if he does. I am still in control of these boys even after three years since they were born.
There goes Moma Kitty off to hope the Person is going to hurry and feed her. Ohs here, and I guess I will go too and see about some nice food.
I see her giving me that look, that I had better get my own plate. She is a tough Mom. So I am going to go find my own plate.

Sorry to upset a lot of people yesterday about the not eating of turkey for cats. It is probably just fine but I did read somewhere that it can cause diarrhea. My cats don't eat people food anyway . It seems that just plain white turkey is A OK.

Have yourselves a fantastic Day.

  4. We hope you two got lots of food. But Ohs, it's best to let your mom eat first. :)

    Have a great weekend.

  6. Marg I must have missed yesterday's post. You happen to be right. My vet that I had with Bobo said that turkey IS VERY BAD for MALE cats. Causes urinary issues. They can have it...but sparingly. Same with tuna...tuna is actually NOT GOOD for cats. So if people were upset too bad, you were right! Also, the link is fixed on our give-away but your comment will still count as an entry

  8. We shouldn't feed our babies people food at all. It's not good for them. Not at all. I so agree with you on this point.

Have a purrfect Feral Cat Friday. My best you the person. ♥♥♥

  12. Marg we are glad you said something about the turkey, we had never heard that before. We knew about tuna not being too good. But as with anything "human" food is best in moderation. We thank you for bringing it up!

  13. Many years ago we adopted a feral kitten. He ripped my hands apart for the first month and then decided he liked being cuddled and behaved himself - thankfully!

  15. OH dear this reminds me of a comedy routine by Bill Cosby. It was about his wife and their teenage son. The boy did something she was not happy about. Bill said she told him
'she brought him in this world and she could take him out!' Momma cats rule.

  17. You didn't upset me at all. I have given Mario turkey only about 2 x a year when we have it, so I figured that hasn't hurt him yet. I appreciate you trying to spread the word.

  18. Gertrude used to give her kitties that look, even after they were grown. They seemed to understand too. Too much turkey probably isnt good so thanks for the warning.

  22. I have always give turkey to both the cats and dogs with no problems, but it is always good to be aware of potential complications. Fixing to read the post. ~Alasandra

  23. That's what happens when you live with your mom. No matter how old you are, she remains in control. But it is good manners not to take her noms. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
