Sort or Tortie Tuesday

Hi there, Gertrude here and I think that Calico cats are considered Tortie cats too. At least my sister is a Tortie so I must be close to one.
Anyway, I  have a little story to tell you. I love to go outside and usually go out for an hour or so and come back in. WELL, we have new neighbors and they have four dogs and very loud children and I got stuck over there for four days. I am on the nervous side and just couldn"t get back home. But I DID come home last night and that Person was soooooooo happy to see me.
So I am taking many naps and eating lots and lots of food since I was gone for so long. And guess what else, the Person will not let me out. I just escaped again. The Person is just shaking her head.
******************************************
Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday.

  16. I understand Gertrude, I didn't come home for 3 days last year, and then my Mommy said no more roaming outside! My Mommy says we look a lot alike, except the orange and black are reverse. It would be nice if you could join us in the Ladies of Autumn! We are having a tea party tomorrow. The link is http://bessthecat.blogspot.com

  26. Since we have never had a cat here, we get all confused about torties and calicos and whatever, but we do know that you are beautiful, Gertrude. AND we think you need to stay home so The Person doesn't have to worry so much.

  33. Our tortie sisfur, Astrid, is an escape artist. It makes mom very nervous. The longest she's ever been out is about five hours 'cause she gets hungry and frightened. Years ago, one of our angel kitties, Louise (Lily's the only one who knew her) got shut in a neighbor's basement for two weeks. Mom was crazy with grief until the neighbor discovered her. When she was found she was so scared she wouldn't come out, not even for Mom. Be a good kitty for your mommy. Please! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
