Book Review, Adventures in Veterinary Medicine

Adventures in Veterinary Medicine
Written by Ingrid King
 'Quote from Ingrid King'
The book offers a unique look at what really goes on in a veterinary hospital through the eyes of a former veterinary hospital manager. The book provides insight into what makes veterinary medicine such a rewarding profession through a series of stories about some of the pets I connected with during my twelve years working in the field.

I really enjoyed this book. It is very well written and sure gives you a good idea about the workings of the Veterinarian's Office. I have always thought a lot about the techs and people that work in the back at the vets and this book sure does explain it very well since Ingrid King experienced it first hand. Really good stories about some of the animals that she helped with at the office. She tells about six cats and her very first cat of her own. And she also tells all about the dirty work that has to be done at the veterinarian office such as all the care of the poor sick animals.

At the moment the book is only available at Amazon at this link, http://amzn.to/18p9oQO

People don’t need a Kindle to read the book, they can download a free reading app from Amazon to read it on a PC, Mac, iPad, Android tablet and smartphone.
Two Two totally agrees that it is a wonderful book. The Person read it to us. Now we know what to expect if we have to stay at the vet office for any length of time. Splitters had to stay once and the techs treated her so well.Splitters loved the techs.

  4. Sounds like a good book! Our mommy wanted to be a vet to help animals but then realized she'd be bawling every day over the ones she couldn't help so she changed her mind.
