I just read a wonderful book called Buckley’s Story. Buckley is a wonderful Tortie cat that was rescued and ended up at an animal hospital. Well one of the gals that worked there took the cat on as her office cat. And so she writes a book about this terrific cat.
This is not only the story of Buckley, but the author, Ingrid King, goes into what great lessons the cats teach us about life. It is a lesson that I have heard about many times but never connected it to my cats. And that is to live for the present day and not worry about tomorrow etc. Anyway, I really enjoyed the book and it does have a sad ending but it is very well written and I truly enjoyed it.
To let me know if you want to be in the draw for the book, just leave me a comment. One of these many cats will do the drawing on Tues. morning and I will get in touch with the winner.

oh my goodness - eighteen?! i would get lost in all those kittehs.
We haven't heard of that book. It sounds like a good one:)
Thankyou for coming by and leaving birthday wishes. Do come again and visit me in my garden.
Hi Marg,
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog, I will become a follower of yours because your blog has one of my favorite subjects and that is cats and your blog looks so very cute!!! I am so happy you are cancer free!!! Chemo is a killer as it brought on more health problems for me! Oh well, I'm still alive and you are too and that means God has a special need for us to be here. I am in the middle of the book, Dewey. I get so busy, that I haven't finished it, but have you heard of it? I would love to win your book! All animal stories seem to have a sad ending even in real life. But I do love animals so very much, and truly love my pets that I have had and the darling white kitty, named Kenzie, that I have now. If you ever checked out my Etsy shop you would see my last cat, Peanut, that lived to be 20 yrs old. If you go to my oldest page on my blog you will see the real Peanut. We were soul mates and she was such a cartoon & so hysterical. She was my muse when she was alive and up to this day I keep her alive producing art work featuring her. But I also do other subjects as well. I got Kenzie when she was 9 yrs old a couple of yrs ago and it was difficult to win her over, but now we are buds and she is so funny as well, in her own way.
I'm so glad to meet you and when I get the time, which is seldom, I'm afraid, I will be checking back to visit your darling blog!
Linda :)
Hi Marg,
It was very nice to meet you. What a precious kitty on your header.
I have not read Buckley's Story yet. I'll have to check on that one.
Madi and Mom
Hi Marg...Madi loves bags and boxes too which is why I just knew she would love the tunnel...there is no understanding the feline mind...but that is why we love them...their mystery.

This is a great book-no need to enter me as I have read it. Have you read Homer's Odysessey and A Cat Named Oscar. I reviewed both of them on my blog.
Hi Marg
It's nice to meet you. We love to have kittehs visit. We have two that live with us.
Love Ruby & Penny
Pees - we hope you don't mind two little doxies visiting you.
It sounds like a very interesting book. The thought of saving an animal gives me good feelings, even with a sad ending to the book.
Don't enter me in the contest though. I get enough good reading right now from your blog and others. I know some of your other readers would appreciate it much more.
Hi Marg,
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your very sweet note about Bucky. I really appreciate the thoughtfulnes and support. I miss Bucky so much but this support really does help soften the sadness.
